The Wicked Garden was exhibited at the Botanical Garden of Valencia from 23 May to 7 September 2025. The 28 large-scale drawings, created between 2019 and 2025, were inspired by the artist’s time in the botanical garden of Madrid. Made with ink on Chinese paper, the drawings depict plants and trees—but also hold echoes of memory, myth and poetry. Like a garden, the works invite wandering. Each piece is a threshold—an opening into a landscape of the mind, where nature and imagination intertwine.
